We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our busy team in Leeds!, As an Infrastructure Engineer, your role will involve maintaining, improving, and standardising the company's IT infrastructure. You'll manage on-premises and virtual environments while ensuring consistent configuration and security standards. You'll play a pivotal role in projects such as the migration to modern solutions like Keeper for credential management and Windows Server upgrades. Additionally, you will also be responsible for establishing a robust Active Directory standard across all UK domains and providing technical support for our Leeds office relocation., * Configure and maintain the Leeds instance of WhatsUp Gold for proactive infrastructure monitoring.
- Manage the migration from 1Password to Keeper, ensuring secure credential management and smooth adoption across teams.
- Establish and maintain a consistent Active Directory standard across all UK domains.
- Raise functional levels across all UK Active Directory environments.
- Plan and execute Windows Server 2022 upgrades across all UK servers.
- Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) across the entire estate.
- Design and operate a standardised patch management process for all UK projects.
- Ensure infrastructure hardening standards are implemented and reviewed regularly.
- Provide technical support for the Leeds office relocation, including the setup of new infrastructure (servers, desktops, printers, and network connectivity).
- Administer and maintain multiple Active Directory domains, ensuring replication, security, and consistency.
- Manage and maintain Hyper-V clusters, including VM provisioning, storage allocation, and performance optimisation.
- Operate and maintain the Veeam backup and recovery solution across all sites and projects.
- Manage file shares and permissions, including DFSR replication.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365, including user management, shared mailboxes, and licencing.
- Support and maintain Azure services, including Entra ID, virtual machines, storage accounts, and user management.
- Administer and monitor endpoint protection using Microsoft Defender.
- Support and utilise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM/SEM) tools for monitoring and alerting.

Requirements
Do you have experience in TCP?, Essential:
- Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
- Proven experience managing Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
- Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Solid PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and the differences between TCP, UDP, and ICMP protocols.
- Good knowledge of storage technologies such as SANs, NAS, and LUNs.
- Understanding of patching cycles, update management, and operating system hardening.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments including licences, shared mailboxes, and user provisioning.
- Experience with Azure administration including Entra ID, VMs, and storage accounts.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and application issues effectively using tools such as PowerShell and Wireshark.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with WhatsUp Gold or equivalent infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Experience in implementing RBAC and patch management frameworks.
- Previous involvement in infrastructure migration or office relocation projects.
- Exposure to SIEM tools for monitoring and incident response.
