Job description

As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping our clients make sense of their energy and carbon data, turning numbers into meaningful insights that drive real change. You'll be hands-on with data analysis, reporting and client collaboration, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and actionable. As part of our Consulting team, you'll be at the heart of Optimised's mission to help organisations cut carbon, boost efficiency and meet the challenges of climate regulation with confidence., * Analyse sustainability data to produce clear, accurate insights and highlight opportunities to reduce carbon.

  • Support clients with reporting and compliance requirements related to sustainability and climate regulation.
  • Help develop and improve Optimised's sustainability and net zero services.
  • Assist with renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Work closely with clients to explain data and reports in a way that drives meaningful change.
  • Keep clients and colleagues informed about compliance progress and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time by collecting, checking, and validating data.
  • Stay informed about sustainability policy, regulation, and best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating Optimised's values in all client and team interactions.

  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with experience of data analysis and interpreting data
  • Experience of reporting data to provide insights, either via Excel, PowerBi and/or dashboards
  • A proactive attitude that brings drive, energy and passion to the role
  • Flexible, positive and committed team member, who works to very high standards
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both digitally and in person
  • Experience in energy or Sustainability sector, particularly around carbon accounting - desirable but not essential
  • High IT literacy skills
  • Purpose driven mindset
  • An open and approachable manner, backed up by high moral and ethical standards
  • Passion for social or environmental issues
  • Proactive attitude that brings drive, energy and passion to the role
