Job description
You'll play a key part in supporting the Group Sustainability team by gathering, cleaning, analysing, and presenting emissions and sustainability data across global events. In this role, you'll build the measurement foundation that underpins strategic sustainability planning, business case development and leadership reporting. What You'll Do
- Collect data on energy, waste, and travel from venues, suppliers, and event teams globally
- Clean and maintain a central sustainability database
- Produce event-level emissions reports, identifying data gaps and risks
- Build dashboards (e.g. using Power BI) to visualise emissions and intensity metrics (such as emissions per attendee or per sqm)
- Track submissions, follow up on requests, and manage deadlines
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- A graduate or early-career analyst with a curious, data-driven mindset
- Highly organised and proactive, with a strong eye for detail
- Enthusiastic about sustainability and motivated by the opportunity to make a global impact
- Comfortable dealing with structured but sometimes messy data
- A clear communicator who can escalate issues, share insights, and suggest improvements
RequirementsSkills & Experience
- Degree in sustainability, environmental science, data analytics, geography, economics, or a related field
- Academic or project-based experience in data analysis
- Basic to intermediate Power BI skills (dashboard creation, data modelling, organising data)
- Strong in Excel, survey design, data cleaning, and workflow tracking
- Knowledge of sustainability themes (e.g., UN SDGs) and a genuine passion for the field
