Job description
They're looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join a growing technical services team of eight. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll deliver high-quality technical projects and support services for business clients.
You'll be working on a mix of onsite and remote projects, taking responsibility from design and proposal through to delivery and ongoing support. The role requires someone comfortable managing client relationships while working under time and budget constraints., * Deliver IT project work within agreed budgets and timelines
- Design, quote, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions
- Provide occasional desktop and server support (Windows 10/11, Server 2016+)
- Manage client relationships and maintain clear communication
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure service quality
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration (licensing, security, Teams Phone, SharePoint, Intune)
- Proven experience supporting and deploying Windows servers and desktops
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A methodical, detail-driven approach to troubleshooting and delivery
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
- Networking experience (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls)
- Background in an MSP environment is desirable
- VMware or Hyper-V administration
- Familiarity with Datto RMM, Autotask, and ITGlue
- Proposal writing and project management experience
