Job description
We are looking for a capable Microsoft 365 / Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our technical team. You will help design, implement and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments for our managed clients, combining strong technical delivery with clear communication and professionalism.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role involving project delivery, migrations and support across Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Intune, SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft security services., * Deliver Microsoft 365 projects including migrations, configuration and optimisation across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Intune
- Configure and manage Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, MFA and compliance policies
- Deploy and maintain endpoint management and security through Intune, Autopilot and Defender for Endpoint
- Build and manage SharePoint Online structures, permissions and retention policies
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery using Microsoft 365 Backup, Veeam and Datto
- Provide 3rd line escalation for complex Microsoft 365 and endpoint issues
- Maintain documentation, templates and configuration standards
- Attend client meetings to assess requirements and provide technical input
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in VPN?, * 3 to 5 years' experience working in a Managed Service Provider or multi-client IT environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Defender
- Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, Intune and Microsoft 365 Compliance tools
- Good understanding of networking, firewalls and VPN technologies (Sophos, WatchGuard or similar)
- Clear, confident communication skills when working with clients
- Strong documentation and organisation skills
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, VPN and hybrid identity
- Strong understanding of security, compliance and governance in Microsoft 365
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid infrastructure
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or NCSC frameworks
- Experience using HaloPSA or similar service desk platforms
- Develop and support Power Automate and Power Apps workflows, * Do you hold any Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS-900, AZ-104, or equivalent)?
- Have you delivered Microsoft 365 projects end-to-end (for example migrations, tenant builds, Teams or SharePoint Online implementations, or Intune rollouts)
- Have you run client discovery or scoping sessions to define technical requirements and proposed Microsoft 365 solutions?
- Have you configured Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, or security baselines in client tenants?
- Have you deployed or managed Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device compliance, configuration, and app deployment?
- Have you used PowerShell, Power Automate, or other scripting tools to automate Microsoft 365 administration or deployments?
- Have you delivered user enablement, adoption workshops, or technical training around Teams or other Microsoft 365 services?
- Have you led or supported migrations (email, file, or tenant-to-tenant) to Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online?
- Are you comfortable communicating directly with clients, including scoping meetings and technical discussions?
- We're a small, fast-moving consultancy - are you comfortable wearing multiple hats (delivery, documentation, support, client calls)?
- Are you comfortable traveling to visit clients or attend meetings as part of your role?
Experience:
- Microsoft 365, Azure, or cloud infrastructure: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- full UK licence and own vehicle for work travel (required)
