Job description
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Anti-Piracy Team who will support our Anti-Piracy lab, investigators and intelligence teams with insights gained from analysing company and 3rd party data. The ideal candidate will be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods using a variety of data tools.
They should have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights as well as being comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
What you'll do :
- Validate, clean, and format data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems and pipelines
- Execute data QA, testing plans, and validation checks for ETL workflows, dashboards, reports, and analytical models
- Monitor and investigate data issues or anomalies, escalate risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Build statistical analyses, models, and algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and business insights
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional partners to enhance data processes and systems
- Maintain clear documentation and stay up to date on data quality, analytics tools, and industry best practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test cases?, * A strong analytical mindset, proficiency in querying and manipulating large datasets, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Experience designing and executing QA/test cases for data pipelines, dashboards, or analytics workflows
- Experience visualising/presenting data for stakeholders utilising BigQuery, Tableau, Looker Studio alongside Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Cloud providers.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, SLQ, SPLUNK etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures and distributed computing tools
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques
- Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages
- Understanding distributed data/computing tools
