Job description
As an IT Contracts Administrator for BES Group, you will work closely with our IT Management Team and members of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for administration activities in relation to IT contract spend of £3m per annum. This includes managing the process to order, receive and approve payment for all IT kit and software licences. You will also be responsible for keeping our contract records up to date and providing oversight on the quality and accuracy of the IT asset records maintained by operational members of the IT team. This role demands someone with a relentless attention to detail who is able to balance multiple actions simultaneously.
You Will
- Administration of IT contracts, invoices and assets relating to annual IT spend of value of £2m per annuum
- Maintenance of the IT contracts record library
- Administration of IT procure to pay process (ordering hardware, confirming good receipt, approving invoices, IT asset register updates)
- Validation of all IT invoices v. contractual terms
- Ordering new IT licences and administration of IT license inventory (especially Microsoft 365 licences)
- Oversight and quality checking IT assets records (includes initiating and tracking to closure actions where exceptions identified)
- Administration, oversight and quality checking of mobile phone and data records and contracts
- Administration and support of IT procurement and RFP exercises
Requirements
- Prior experience in finance administration role
- Possesses a relentless attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (especially use of Pivot tables and lookup functions)
- Ability to effectively balance multiple ongoing tasks
- A demonstrable track record of being able to work independently and using initiative to bring a task to a closure
- A willingness to learn new skills and concepts
- Ideally, you will have an interest in technology (the role is about administrating IT contracts)
