Cyber Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Monitor and analyse security events, alerts, and incidents using SIEM tools.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, threat hunting, and risk assessments.
• Support incident response activities, including investigation and remediation.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Development teams to embed security in every phase of delivery (DevSecOps).
• Maintain and improve security policies, standards, and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and awareness training programs.

Do you have experience in VPN?, * 0-8 years of hands-on experience in a cyber security or related technical role.

• Strong understanding of:
• Network and endpoint security
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs
• Cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Identity and access management
• Security monitoring and incident response
• Familiarity with tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys), and EDR platforms.
• Awareness of common frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials, etc.)

Pay: £40,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
