Job description

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, intrusions, and suspicious activity.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Support security incident response and forensic investigations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and software teams to integrate secure-by-design principles.
  • Assist with compliance and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST).
  • Research emerging threats, attack vectors, and best practices to enhance organisational resilience.
  • Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and automation for security operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 0-8 years of hands-on experience in cyber security, network security, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals - authentication, encryption, firewalls, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, ELK), IDS/IPS, and security monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their native security tools.
  • Experience with Linux/Windows administration and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Awareness of common security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, CIS Controls).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
