E Collinson & Co Ltd is a third-generation British manufacturer leading innovation in feed storage, handling and monitoring technology. As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are seeking a Digital Systems & Integration Engineer to strengthen our in-house capability for software development, data integration, and business systems automation.
This role focuses on building, connecting, and maintaining the digital tools that power the business linking design, manufacturing, sales, service, and monitoring systems into a cohesive, modern ecosystem. The emphasis is on practical development, integration, and long-term support, whilst also contributing to overall AI strategy and adoption., Design, build, and maintain bespoke software and integrations across key platforms (CRM, ERP, Quotation Tools, PID Search, Digital Warranty Registration, FeedAlert).
Automate and optimise workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and APIs.
Connect data sources to improve visibility, traceability, and operational reporting across departments.
Develop and maintain custom tools and applications that improve efficiency and user experience.
Produce technical documentation, manage version control, and ensure consistent system maintenance.
Implement secure system designs in line with ISO 9001 / 27001 / 42001 and company data protection policies.
Deliver small- to medium-scale digital projects end-to-end and coordinate with external partners for larger builds.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for in-house systems and integrations.
Continuously review and improve workflows, processes, and data accuracy across the organisation.
Example Projects
Develop and manage a new silo quotation and site validation tool.
Enhance and maintain the PID (Product Information Database) for component traceability and spares management.
Implement a customer silo delivery booking system integrated with CRM and production planning.
Support ongoing development of the Digital Warranty registration platform and FeedAlert subscription systems.

Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, 3-5 years' experience in software or systems development, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure Active Directory.
Experience integrating systems using APIs, SQL, and JSON data structures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
Excellent documentation and organisational abilities with clear communication skills.
Awareness of information security and quality management principles.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Familiarity with CAD/CAM, MRP/ERP, or CRM systems (such as Sicon, Sage CRM or Radan e2i).
Experience integrating IoT or sensor-based data (e.g. FeedAlert).
Understanding of ISO 27001 / 42001 frameworks or compliance-driven system design.
Interest in using AI-enabled tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Automate AI) to enhance efficiency.
