Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading main contractor specialising in high-quality fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects across commercial, retail and mixed-use sectors. This role would suit a confident and organised professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple live projects and ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant and efficiently managed through the company's document management system (Procore experience is highly desirable)., * Manage and maintain all project documentation through Procore
- Upload, review, and distribute drawings, specifications and technical documents.
- Maintain document registers, version control and approval workflows.
- Liaise with project managers, design teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure document accuracy and timely submission.
- Conduct regular audits of document control processes to ensure compliance.
- Support tender and pre-construction documentation where required.
- Assist in preparing project handover and O&M documentation.
- Provide general project administration, including meeting coordination and minute taking.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within a main contractor or large subcontractor environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Procore
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working independently and supporting multiple project teams simultaneously.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset.
