Systems Accountant- Unit4 ERP / Agresso

We are seeking a Unit4 Systems Accountant to join our client's finance team. This is a key role responsible for maintaining, developing and optimising the organisation's finance system. The postholder will ensure the system operates effectively, supports accurate financial management, and contributes to continual process improvement., * Administer and maintain the finance system, including user access, workflow management, chart of accounts, attributes and relationships

• Manage and respond to helpdesk queries, providing technical support and allocating tickets appropriately within the team

• Act as the main contact for external system and support providers

• Lead activites for system updates, integrations and developments

• Monitor system performance to ensure stability and reliability

• Manage system development priorities in line with organisational needs

• Identify and address training needs within the finance team and wider organisation, preparing training materials and delivering sessions where appropriate

• Ensure that all systems and processes comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements, including VAT and data protection

• Promote and model our shared values and inclusive practices in all aspects of work

• Finance background or qualification or part qualified (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)
