Job description

As a Data Analyst, you will help build a single source of truth at Flair Rugs. Based in Glossop, the role focuses on making data more consistent, accessible and useful across the business. You will lead work on mapping, migration and validation, supporting everyday decision-making and longer-term change. With clearer insight and better foundations, colleagues can rely on the information that keeps our products and planning moving forward.

We're Purpose Driven. Since 1984 we've grown to become the largest in our sector and we've carried the same spirit with us every step of the way. We're proud of our diverse passionate team and the way we collaborate to make things happen. Our carefully crafted rugs are the centrepieces that bring rooms and people together. And that togetherness is the very essence of who we are.

You'll Grow With Us. You'll build hands-on experience in governance, quality and data operations. From profiling and cleansing to supporting new system deployments, you'll be involved in making data more accessible and useful at every level of the business. We'll back your development with clear priorities, the right tools and cross-functional support.

Your Voice Matters. When it comes to data, detail matters. You'll be trusted to bring consistency, spot risks and suggest ways to improve how data flows through the business. Whether you're supporting reports or leading a migration workstream, your clarity will shape how others use and value our data.

Bring Your Flair. You're organised, curious and focused on accuracy. You like solving problems and finding the patterns that bring order to complexity. Whether you're cleaning up legacy sources or helping shape new ones, you stay focused on building what works.

Requirements

  • Experience in a data analysis, governance or operations role
  • Strong understanding of data profiling, cleansing and ownership
  • Comfortable with cloud-based data tools or data warehouse environments
  • Able to document rules, definitions and data structures clearly
  • Confident working across teams to connect systems and reporting

Even Better If You Bring…

  • Exposure to system migrations, validation or data contracts
  • Understanding of supply chain or retail data
  • Experience supporting data governance or master data frameworks

Benefits & conditions
