Job description

This is a hands-on development role working across the full lifecycle - from planning and building new features to testing, deployment, and maintenance. You'll work alongside backend engineers, designers, and QA to ensure the app remains performant, intuitive, and reliable across a range of iOS devices. You'll also have input into technical design, API integration, and product improvements that directly impact customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience in Swift and iOS app development
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating external data sources
  • Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and UI/UX principles
  • Knowledge of Core Data, UIKit, SwiftUI, or other modern iOS frameworks
  • Experience with App Store deployment and managing release cycles
  • Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing best practices
  • Advantageous: exposure to mobile web apps, push notifications, or offline-first architecture

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: £60,000-£70,000
  • Flexible hybrid working - remote-friendly with optional access to Belfast HQ
  • Refurbished offices (2023) with modern facilities
  • Career development - ongoing training and support for skill progression
  • Collaborative, family-run culture with a close-knit team and flat structure
  • Occasional travel for team strategy sessions and social events

This is a standout opportunity for an iOS Developer who wants to build impactful mobile products with clear user benefit, in a business that genuinely values flexibility, autonomy, and innovation. You'll work on a live, evolving product at scale, supported by a team that's proud of what they build.
