Junior Web Systems Developer

Do you have experience in jQuery?, We are looking for people with strong logic capability, excellent attention to detail and a passion for computer programming.

The programming language(s) you are familiar with is not as important as the enthusiasm to learn our stack.

When reviewing CV's we pay close attention to candidates with strong Mathematics and a clear passion for programming. 1 year's relevant commercial development experience e.g. a placement year, would be ideal.

A small number of candidates will be selected and asked to complete an online assessment - requiring 1 hour of your time.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a one hour video interview via ms teams where we will spend 20 minutes finding out more about you, 20 minutes on technical discussion, 10 minutes discussing the job in more detail, and 10 minutes on a Q&A.

As we receive good applicants we will rapidly organise sessions, provide feedback and make decisions.

Red Technology is a leading UK ecommerce solution provider. We author an ecommerce platform, tradeit, which we leverage to deliver complex ecommerce solutions for mid-sized organisations. The role is primarily back-end focussed but as we are a web development company it will include some front -end development. Red's primary stack includes Visual Studio, Git, VB.NET, SQL, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, S/CSS and Elasticsearch. You will work on the implementation, maintenance and support of multiple sophisticated ecommerce websites. You will receive mentoring from seasoned consultants and developers in return for your genuine enthusiasm and pro-active approach to learning.
