Job description
We're looking for an organised, proactive person to help keep the business running smoothly day-to-day. This role combines bookkeeping and general administrative support with the opportunity to get involved in other areas such as marketing, production planning, or business development - depending on your interests and skills.
You'll work closely with the founder and small team, helping to keep projects on track, systems tidy, and operations running efficiently. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and would like to grow with a forward-thinking, hands-on company in the life sciences and automation field., * Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and expenses (e.g. using Odoo and related tools).
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and project costs.
- Support invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
- Assist with general office administration and document organisation.
- Coordinate meetings, recruitment, and travel logistics.
- Support marketing, communications, or website content as needed.
- Help improve internal processes and planning systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Xero?, * Experienced with bookkeeping or accounting software (QuickFile, Xero, or similar).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and digital tools.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Flexible and curious - open to learning new systems and contributing to new areas.
Nice to Have
- Experience in marketing, social media, or content creation.
- Interest in technology, design, or life sciences.
- Experience with Odoo, Expensify, or other ERP/CRM systems., * Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
