Job description
- Transform sketches and specifications into high-quality 3D models and detailed drawings ready for manufacture.
- Collaborate closely with Design Managers, Project Engineers, and the manufacturing team to develop production-ready designs on time and to spec.
- Maintain accurate drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation in line with company standards.
- Contribute ideas, review designs, and support continuous improvement of design processes.
- Occasionally visit sites to carry out surveys and solve on-site engineering challenges.
- Ensure designs are safe, practical, and efficient for production., * Be part of a dynamic, innovative engineering team.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in design-for-manufacture.
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D CAD software).
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills - able to work collaboratively and clearly document designs.
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
