Job description

Full Stack Developer (Greenfield Customer Portal | .NET, Azure, React) Hybrid - 3 days a week in Chandlers Ford Up to £65,000 + 15% Bonus +Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity Our client, a market-leading engineering solutions group operating across the UK, Europe and the US, is embarking on a major digital transformation - and this is your chance to shape it from the ground up.

They are building a brand-new customer-facing portal designed to revolutionise how clients interact with their suite of products. This is a truly greenfield project - no legacy constraints, no inherited codebases, and complete freedom to architect something exceptional using the latest cloud and web technologies.

This role offers genuine technical autonomy and the chance to influence architecture, tooling, and development standards within a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering function.

The Role As a Full Stack Developer, you'll take a leading role in designing, building, and scaling a high-performance web platform that connects complex IoT infrastructure with a clean, intuitive customer interface.

Roughly 80% backend and 20% frontend, this position will see you working end-to-end across:

  • Architecting and developing cloud-first solutions using .NET, C#, Azure Functions, and modern APIs (REST & GraphQL).
  • Creating intuitive, responsive interfaces using ReactJS and React Native.
  • Building secure, scalable integrations with IoT telemetry systems, ensuring real-time data ingestion, storage, and visualisation.
  • Implementing modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools to support high availability and performance.
  • Collaborating directly with stakeholders to define requirements, design architecture, and guide delivery strategy.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical direction and engineering culture.

This is a highly visible, strategic role - where you'll shape both the technology and how it's delivered.

Requirements

About You You're a seasoned Full Stack Developer who thrives in greenfield environments and enjoys building complex systems from the ground up. You take ownership, think architecturally, and write clean, reliable code.

You'll bring:

  • Strong experience in C# / .NET development.
  • Expertise in ReactJS and modern front-end engineering.
  • Solid understanding of Azure or similar cloud environments.
  • Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, SQL/NoSQL databases, and secure coding practices.
  • (Desirable) Awareness of IoT concepts such as MQTT, Modbus, or Azure IoT Hub.

Above all, you'll bring curiosity, creativity, and the confidence to take technical ownership in a collaborative, high-trust environment.

Benefits & conditions

  • Modern tech stack - .NET 8, Azure Functions, ReactJS, CI/CD, GraphQL, IoT.
  • Collaborative engineering culture - trusted, empowered, and innovation-driven.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days a week in Chandlers Ford HQ, 2 days remote.
  • Competitive salary, annual and quarterly bonuses, private medical insurance, and outstanding career development support.

This is a rare opportunity to define the technical backbone of a major digital initiative within a respected, forward-thinking business. If you're ready to make a tangible impact in a modern engineering environment, we'd love to hear from you.
