Job description
You'll be part of a high performing and committed financial crime team who are responsible for configuring and tuning the customer and payment screening tools within the society. Using your SAS coding experience, you will support development work on the customer screening tool - which screens our customers for PEP (Political Exposed Persons), SIP (Special Interest Persons), RCA (Relative and Close Associates) and Sanction concerns. You will be querying databases and analysing data to help inform next steps, be it configuration changes or incident responses.

Requirements
Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, As a minimum requirement you will have
- Ability to work with large datasets primarily using SAS tools such as Enterprise Guide, DI Studio and BASE, or similar coding language (e.g. SQL) to query databases
- Understands economic crime risks and controls - sanction and screening knowledge particularly useful
- Proven technical/analytical skills and the ability to explain those skills to others outside of the role in understandable terms
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast-moving environment which will require you to plan, shape and manage workload
- Track record of delivering with accuracy
- Demonstrate an understanding of governance processes - including enhancing MI (Management Information)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root-cause and the confidence to recommend solutions
- Helpful if you have experience working alongside technology development teams which use UAT (User Acceptance Testing) environments
- Nice Actimize understanding also useful
