Software Engineer in Test

La Fosse have partnered with a global organisation to recruit an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) on a contract basis.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions across multiple applications and platforms.

The SDET will own the automation strategy, develop and maintain test scripts using C# and Selenium, implement behavior-driven testing with a BDD framework, and ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with business requirements

• Strong experience in C# for test automation development
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing
• Proficient in BDD frameworks (e.g., SpecFlow, Cucumber) to implement behavior-driven tests
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for multiple applications and platforms
• Solid understanding of test automation strategy and best practices, including test architecture, framework design, and reusable components
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., RestSharp, Postman) and integration testing is a plus
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices
