Whether it's budget planning, financial reporting or supporting service delivery teams, our work underpins the Council's ability to make informed decisions and deliver value for money.Joining our team means becoming part of a forward-thinking, collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the future of financial management in local government.As a service we'recommittedto recruiting on potential.The details below set out the specifics of the role we're recruiting for, and we want to encourage anyone with relevant experience to apply.Join OCC and be part of a forward-thinking team transforming financial management through innovation and technology.What You'll DoAs our Senior Commercial Systems and DataAnalyst, you'll turn complex information into clear insight that drives smarter decisions across the council.You'llleadthe day-to-day management of commercial applications and data, including the development of dashboards and reports tosupportstrategic delivery and improvements to procurement and contract systems.You'll seek opportunities and then manage system developments to help us meet our goals around automation, digitisation and service delivery savings.You will work across commercial and data teams, championing data integrity, providing initiative usersupport, and driving innovation to ensure our systems serve our people.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Manage and supervise:o day-to-day application operations of commercial and procurement systems, including user access, support, training, and changes per company policies.o deliver training and first-line support for procurement and contract management systems.o production and maintenance of relevant statutory reporting and documentation.o collaboration with colleagues to resolve data gaps and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Serve as a systems and data expert, working with commercial and procurement managers to optimise processes and improve data recording for efficient end-to-end services and reporting.Work with systems and data team colleagues to enable interoperability across finance and commercial systems through automation and data alignment.What You'll BringProven experience of:o managing applications, maximising usefulness and delivery of upgrades.o data analysis, modelling, and reporting within a comparable environment., Knowledge of
