- Insurance industry or broader Financial Services exposure
- 10+ years in a Infrastructure Manager role (desirable)
- Demonstrable experience of cloud implementations and migrations, cloud architecture
- Certification credentials in one or more of ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, CITP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Familiarity with regulatory environment and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrable infrastructure selection/delivery/integration experience
- Demonstrable prior experience of migration projects moving from legacy systems to new/updated platforms (software/hardware/integration layer) and able to articulate role(s) played
- Proficiency in network architecture, server administration, storage systems, and information security.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Docker.
- Experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and managing IT risks.
- Proficiency in major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Cloud Security and Data Management practices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes), helps in automating and streamlining cloud operations a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in guiding and mentoring technical teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex systems and propose innovative solutions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.

The primary responsibility of this role is the ongoing enhancement and support of RiverStone International's IT infrastructure (servers, databases, network, firewalls etc), supporting both the current business operations and future strategic growth. This includes supporting the evolution and execution of the organisation's cloud strategy.
