Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UK's only international high-speed railway, High Speed 1 (HS1).
The 109km HS1 infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, NRHS is privately financed under an agreement with our client 'London St Pancras Highspeed Ltd', undertaking a diverse range of activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations - through to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client, We are excited to be recruiting an Asset Data Engineer into our team, sitting within the Asset Management Team for NRHS. The Asset Management Team is a multi-disciplinary team covering all the assets on the railway as well as the asset data to inform optimised decisions for their maintenance and management. While the role has a range of breadth to it, the key area for focus over the 12 months will involve working closely with the Asset Data and Integration Manager to ensure the outcomes of the Strategic Asset Management Plans are delivered. The role will provide essential support to the Asset Management Team., + Gather information relating to infrastructure assets to provide reporting to Network Rail (High Speed) Stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of the annual / bi-annual 'Asset Management Annual Statement' (AMAS) reports to be produced for London St Pancras Highspeed / ORR.
- Identify the appropriate performance indicators for engineering assets and set the specifications for these performance indicators, checking that both the indicators and the specifications are consistent with the wider engineering and Network Rail goals.
- Analyse existing asset data reports and lead the identification of Network Rail's future needs for information on assets, including those arising from commitments to external organisations, working with other groups and functions across the company.
- Provide advice to the IM relating to the data produced by the period reporting, and work with the Engineering functions to resolve any issues raised.
- Review Backlog, Faults and other IMR data so there is consistent reporting. Establish the currently available information on assets, assessing its completeness, quality, and other factors affecting its suitability.
- Manage nominated projects to improve the quality and availability of information on infrastructure assets.
- Support discussions with external organisations, including the Office of Rail Regulation, on information on infrastructure assets.
- Lead and deliver all NRHS deliverables to London St Pancras Highspeed Ltd, including AMAS, Asset Specific Policies, etc.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, We are looking for someone with a data background and interest in asset management combined with some knowledge and exposure to the range of functions in engineering and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be familiar with Power Bi and have advanced excel skills., * Significant relevant experience of asset data requirements with the ability to interpret and interrogate asset data.

Although it isn't essential, it would be helpful if you have a knowledge of asset management, Power BI and some project management experience- and if you have an understanding of railway industry structure and regulatory framework - even better!
