Job description
RPS are seeking a visionary Digital Transformation Lead (DTL) to drive the strategic adoption and integration of digital technologies within our Asset, Surveying & Inspection (AS&I) division. In this pivotal role, you will act as a catalyst for change, bridging traditional field service practices with cutting-edge digital solutions. You will lead initiatives to modernise core systems, optimise workflows through automation and data analytics, and foster a cultural shift that embraces transformation. You will also align the ASI digital strategy to that of the wider RKS strategy., * Digital Strategy Development: Define and implement a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives, focusing on enhancing field operations, service delivery, and client engagement.

Technology Enablement: Identify, evaluate, and deploy digital tools and platforms (e.g., mobile workforce solutions, IoT, AI, cloud systems) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in field services.

Operational Optimisation: Lead initiatives to automate manual processes, integrate data systems, and streamline workflows, reducing downtime, errors, and operational costs.

GIS, CAD, and BIM: Develop Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities to enhance data visualisation, project planning, and execution whilst adding value to end product outputs to our clients.

Commercialisation of Digital Solutions: Drive the development and commercialisation of innovative digital solutions, identifying new revenue streams and enhancing service offerings to meet evolving market demands.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Drive organisational change by engaging stakeholders at all levels, fostering a digital-first mindset, and ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies and processes.

Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs to monitor the success of digital initiatives and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with transformation goals.

Innovation Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for continuous digital innovation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management methodology?, As a key member of the Asset, Surveying, and Inspection (AS&I) business, your role as CAD Technician is critical to our strategic priorities - to deliver great work for our clients by providing excellent customer service and executing complex operational tasks.
You will need to work flexibly, working weekends, evenings and overtime if required. Be willing to travel to different locations. It is essential that you enjoy working outdoors, as come rain or shine, you will mostly be outside., * Proven track record (5+ years) leading or significantly influencing digital transformation initiatives, preferably within a utilities-based organisation.
- Strong understanding of field service environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise-wide technology platforms, mobile applications, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
