Node Developer - Contract Outside IR35 - UK remote

We're looking for an experienced Node.js / JavaScript Developer to join a 3-month greenfield project, focused on upgrading and modernising an existing system from Perl to Node.js. You'll work alongside a small, agile team to architect and deliver a clean, scalable solution. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex problems and improving legacy systems using modern technology.

Strong Node.js and JavaScript development experience * Experience working on greenfield or migration projects * Good understanding of API development and system integration * Exposure to MongoDB (Mongo Atlas desirable) * Comfortable working in Linux environments * Experience with AWS or Azure * Version control using Git * Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is a plus * Previous experience with Perl (nice to have but not essential)
