Job description
- Understand the needs, goals, and vision for the website.
- Develop visual representations of the website layout, structure, and user flow using design software.
- Building clickable prototypes to show the basic look, feel, and functionality before development begins.
- Select appropriate colour schemes, fonts, and visual elements that align with the websites brand.
- Ensure a clean and organized layout that guides users through the content effectively.
- Design websites that work well on multiple devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile
- phones.
- Create or select appropriate images, icons, buttons, and other elements to enhance the site.
- Ensure images and other visual elements are optimized for fast loading times without compromising quality
- Ensure the design works as intended after being coded and make any necessary adjustments.
- Keep websites up to date with fresh designs or tweak existing ones to improve performance.
- Fix any design-related problems that arise after the site goes live.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
- Knowledge of design tools: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Bachelor/Master's degree or a related study and experience
- Experience required 1-2 years preferred
