Job description

As a Developer, an Engineer - Software Engineering you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining software applications.

This position will also be involved in the design of new products or features as well as troubleshooting existing systems. Additionally, this role may involve working with other departments to ensure that all requirements are met before releasing a product into production environment.

What you'll do

  • Develops high-quality software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying system flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following industry standards

  • Designs user interface screens/reports based on customer specifications using appropriate development tools

  • Creates technical documentation such as program code comments and detailed instructions for end users

  • Participates in unit tests to identify any issues prior to release

  • Troubleshoots application problems reported by customers

  • Monitors performance after deployment of an application

  • Maintains current knowledge about technology trends related to assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Extensive system development knowledge with .NET (C#), SQL (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Applied knowledge of software engineering best practice and software development methodologies. e.g. XP, Scrum, design patterns, SOLID principles, Test Driven Development, Object Oriented design and implementation, APIs (REST etc.)

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Spock, pytest, etc.)

  • Experience of working with Message Queuing (e.g. ActiveMQ, Kafka)

  • Experience with configuration and build tools (e.g. Jenkins, Octopus deploy, TeamCity and GitHub)

  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
