Take ownership of a well-structured, business-critical PHP system with 15+ years of logic. You'll extend its capabilities, build integrations, mentor a growing team, and help define CI/CD, testing, and documentation standards.
There's room to improve, but no mess to untangle.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Deep PHP experience and confidence working with mature systems.
- Line management or mentoring experience in a tech environment.
- Comfort working autonomously and making smart calls in ambiguous situations., * Are you happy to commute to Southampton once a month?
- Have you worked in a development environment without detailed specs or formal processes?
- Have you worked on a long-standing PHP system where you were responsible for improving or extending existing functionality?
- Do you have experience managing other developers?
Benefits & conditions
£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits Remote (with monthly travel to Southampton)
