Job description
The Information Manager will be responsible for;
Developing and maintaining the Project Information Management Plan (PIMP)
Document process controlling & Strategy implementation
Document Control quality management & compliance
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) demonstrating full compliance strategy with the project's Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and ISO 19650 standards, aligned with Project's Common Data Environment (CDE) protocols.
Maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs) across all delivery teams.
Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring structured and secure digital information exchange (e.g. using ProjectWise and Autodesk BIM 360).
Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, project naming conventions, metadata standards, and information governance protocols as per BBR Information Management procedure.
Act as primary interface between Balfour Beatty and key Project Stakeholders for Information Management aspects.
Conduct regular data assurance audits and CDE health checks, ,Coordinate project handover documentation, including as-builts and digital O&M records, in line with Client expectations.
Support digital training and onboarding for project teams and supply chain members.
Report on information management compliance, delivery progress and escalate risks or delays as required, at Senior Leadership Team level.
Promote best practice in digital construction and ensure continuous improvement in information management processes.
Requirements
Proven experience managing project information on large infrastructure or rail projects, preferably in regulated environments such as the nuclear industry.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and CDE workflows.
Proficiency in CDE platforms such as TeamCenter, ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM 360 and SharePoint
Knowledge of Railway industry digital standards and information delivery expectations.
Understanding of Sizewell C digital standards and information delivery expectations is desirable
Strong communication and coordination skills to interface with multi- disciplinary teams and clients
