Head of IT

We are pleased to have the opportunity to begin the Executive Search process for a Head of IT to join our client, a leading financial services sector business based in Knightsbridge, Central London.

The business specialises in providing innovative and transparent payment solutions to their extensive client base, providing FX, payments, expense management, and business reporting solutions all via a single platform.

The client firmly believes that innovation and transparency are essential in today's business world, and are committed to helping their clients unlock their full business potential. The solution allows clients to keep track of expenses and manage their reporting without having to spend a huge amount of time on accounts.

We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of IT to join their team and lead and mature their IT department.

As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations, systems, and strategies to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Key responsibilities as Head of IT:

• Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the overall business objectives

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to drive performance and productivity

• Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data

• Identify and implement new technologies to enhance our offerings and improve efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions

• Keep up to date as Head of IT with the latest trends and developments in IT to provide strategic guidance

Proven experience as a Head of IT or similar role in the financial services sector

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Solid understanding of IT systems, cyber security, and infrastructure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and change
