Job description
We are currently looking for an IT Sales Application Architect who will be part of IT Sales Center of Expertise Team and he/she will report to the IT COE Sales Team Leader., In this role, you will lead the IT architecture for Sales Applications, identifying the solutions needed to support business operations and processes. You will define the key aspects of the application architecture and look for opportunities to improve or consolidate existing systems.
You will design applications and ensure they comply with global IT architecture standards and business requirements, maintaining consistent enterprise-wide design principles. You will provide technical leadership to development or infrastructure implementation teams, acting as the subject matter expert in your assigned area.
You will support the IT Account Manager during the demand collection process, working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify the most suitable IT solutions, and assess technical feasibility. You will also contribute to the execution of IT projects in collaboration with project managers, platform leaders, and external suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include guiding the resolution of critical incidents, acting as third-level support when necessary, and maintaining constructive relationships with vendors to ensure effective evaluation of their offerings against business requirements, constraints, and priorities.
Requirements
You hold a degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Management and have at least six years of professional experience, preferably in the FMCG sector. You bring strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, along with the ability to lead, manage, and guide team members effectively.
You communicate confidently across multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership, and you can translate business requirements into application and technical concepts. You take initiative to resolve issues within a team structure.
You have experience implementing Sales applications and processes, particularly in areas such as Order to Cash and cross-company sales. You possess deep knowledge of SAP S4, especially the SD and MM/LE modules, and have demonstrated experience in SAP S4 implementation projects. You are familiar with EDI, data exchange, and CRM-ECC integration, and you have basic ABAP reading and debugging skills. Experience with SAP C4C (Sales Cloud) implementation projects will be considered a plus.
You are fluent in English, and additional languages such as Italian, German, or Spanish will be an advantage. You are available for international mobility and have excellent command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
