Job description
As the MIS and data expert, you will have strategic responsibility for:
- The vision and strategic direction of using data effectively, reliably and to improve the operating performance of the Academy
- Ensuring we are always OFSTED ready at every point in the academic year and that data presented is accurate
- Leading on the Academy website compliance and maintenance
- Leading, designing and implementing analysis and tracking of all aspects of student performance, including pupil premium and enrichment analysis
- The behaviour management system, recording, and reporting to ensure that leaders have the data they need to support learning
- Parental reporting, ensuring that this is accurate and clear
- CPD on the effective use of the MIS with staff
- The accurate collation and return of school and school workforce census
- Overseeing all MIS/data software upgrades
- Managing all data systems across the Academy, including seating plans and Power BI
- Creating and managing the whole school timetable and importing into the MIS
Requirements
Do you have experience in Power BI?, Do you have experience overseeing exam and school related data? We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to lead on the collation, use, dissemination and reporting of data at Harris Lowe Academy Willesden., We would welcome your application if you have:
- Previous experience of working with MIS
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and related packages, including Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and numeracy skills
- A strong commitment to continuing professional development including learning new skills and IT programmes
- Attention to detail, confident report compiling and documentation skills
- Experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Confidence in delivering training and dealing with stakeholders at all levels
