An exciting opportunity has arisen to join HL as a Microsoft Identity Engineer (Compliance & Identity Engineer). You will have a proven track record in supporting and managing Microsoft's Compliance & Identity products including Entra ID and DLP and enjoy working with a variety of technologies and people. This is a great role for someone who wishes to further their career by helping us achieve HL's mission.
What you'll be doing
- Seek innovative solutions, improvements, enhancements, and automation wherever possible.
- Helping to deliver the product vision and strategy, making sure that technical and non-technical users are maximizing product functionalities.
- Actively engaging in a culture of continuous improvements to deliver quality service and support.
- Monitor and manage ServiceNow queues to ensure service requests and incidents relating to compliance & identity products are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Progress project work, tracking progress in Jira.
- Create and maintain accurate system documentation, including change requests, technical and user guides, hardware and software asset and configuration registers, problem and resolution knowledge bases, and documentation produced during the system life cycle.
- Troubleshooting of failures and responding to security incidents.
- Occasional out of hours work for updates, incidents and fixes is expected., * Azure AD Connect

Requirements
- Strong experience working with Entra ID, Security best practices, Entra RBAC, Identity & Governance (PIM, PAM, JIT, Least Privileged), Domain Controllers, AD, AD Connect, Authentication, SSO (SAML/OIDC).
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and complete your own work.
- Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies.
- Flexible and adaptable when dealing with changing requirements and priorities.
- Microsoft or equivalent professional certification would be desirable.
- Understanding and/or working knowledge of ITIL v4.
- Experience in Jira and ServiceNow (preferable).

We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
