Product Support Engineer

You'll be part of the Product Support Team - the technical hub of the site - supporting customer applications, adapting existing designs, and helping various departments with engineering queries. Around 70% of your time will be CAD and drawing work, and the remaining 30% involves practical engineering support, quality input and collaborating with production, sales and purchasing to solve real problems., Producing engineering drawings and 3D models to support customer requirements Creating and managing Bills of Materials Liaising with customers and internal sales teams on technical queries Supporting production, inspection and quality teams with day-to-day engineering issues Attending daily quality clinics and assisting with problem solving Conducting design analysis and supporting improvements to existing product ranges Providing practical support on the shop floor when required Maintaining engineering data and ensuring documentation is accurate Supporting customer returns, failure analysis and engineering investigations Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standardsThis is what you'll need

Mechanical engineering degree or a few years' experience in a similar mechanical/technical design role Understanding of core mechanical engineering principles CAD experience Ability to read and produce engineering drawings Good communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with different teams and solving practical problemsAnd this is what you'll get
