Job description
Work on site at a global investment bank providing both deskside and remote support for users. The role covers incident management and service request fulfilment. The team of three covers rotating shifts across 08 : 00 - 18 : 00 Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed for Turret moves and post-checks after change activity., * Serve as the main point of contact for the user community for service issues and requests.
- Act as an escalation point to resolve issues and manage local communications.
- Provide regular updates on incidents, orders, and reporting requests.
- Work with remote, central support teams on event investigation and issue remediation.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage SLAs and deliver services to the client.
- Oversee on-site personnel and governance of key service processes such as Incident, MAC and Change management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local vendors to improve service quality.
- Document regional and site requirements to enhance the current offer.
- Champion or participate in projects to drive local success.
- Provide training support to users and service teams on IPC service offerings.
- Perform daily health checks to confirm systems are ready for business.
How You Will Make an Impact
Respond to a wide range of issues promptly and communicate effectively with end users, bank management, and IPC teams. Track and measure performance via customer ticket systems and direct feedback.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience providing customer support for trading communication technologies.

Strong technical aptitude in trading communications technologies.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

Ability to organise resources across disciplines to achieve results.

Experience working in a rota : 0600 - 1800 Mon-Fri, with weekend and bank holiday coverage as required. Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge of IPC products and trading communication technologies.

Business process development and definition experience.

Microsoft Office and data analysis skills (Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
