If you're a senior-level Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and driving improvements across on-prem, virtual, and cloud tech, this role offers real impact and technical variety., As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you'll deliver and support business-critical services across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. You'll act as a 3rd-line escalation point, lead on improvements, and help shape the evolution of a global IT estate.
You will:
- Provide expert 3rd-line support across servers, platforms, and networks
- Operate and maintain core infrastructure services (on-prem & cloud)
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of systems and data
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver seamless operations
- Contribute to migrations, deployments, upgrades, and testing of new tech
- Take part in an on-call rota for escalations
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, We're looking for someone with solid experience in enterprise-scale IT operations who's confident owning complex technical issues.
You should have:
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualisation (e.g., VMware) and Windows Server
- Good understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, WiFi, load balancing)
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Terraform)
- Familiarity with security technologies (firewalls, Zero Trust)
- Knowledge of ITIL/IT Service Management
- Experience supporting platforms such as Exchange and SQL Server
