Job description
Full-time (37.5 hours pw) or part-time (22.5 hours pw) permanent contract, We are looking for a Security Vetting Administrator responsible for the day-to-day administration of Security Questionnaire Forms (SQ) and BPSS (Baseline Personnel Standard Service) checks. Managing the security vetting process for both employees and external contractors we are working with.
You will work in our small but busy Security Vetting team and be responsible for the following duties:

Manage the end-to-end process of security vetting for BDP and their subcontractors.

Requesting and checking employment and education referencing documentation (work, personal and/or character) for all employees, in line with security vetting requirements.

Conducting Right to Work checks and approving Proof of Address documentation.

Overseeing the Enhanced DBS process for BDP employees.

Auditing BPSS documentation for contractors who are working on secure projects with us.

Ensure information is kept accurate and up to date for vetting renewals and auditing.

Be the point of contact and provide ongoing support for internal employees and contractors, including security vetting enquiries and requests.

Developing a deep understanding of complex and diverse clearance processes across our project portfolio.

Maintaining detailed and accurate clearance information.

Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, The successful candidate will have the following essential skills and experience required for the role:

Excellent attention to detail is key - especially for conducting BPSS checks.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight timescales.

Relevant experience within a similar role / administration office environment would be desirable but not essential.

Adaptability and a keenness to learn, whilst offering input into ensuring processes are robust to deal with the evolving security vetting landscape.

Building rapport with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a good working relationship.

Ability to work closely with Security Vetting specialists in client and other external organisations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams, Word together with good keyboard skills.

Capable of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
