Job description
I am currently recruiting for a forward thinking and innovative company that is helping to modernise the construction industry. I am seeking a Senior System Developer who can take full ownership of internal business systems and web platforms, driving real improvements that support their cross functional teams. This is a hands on and highly influential role where your technical expertise will directly shape the development and reliability of the systems that keep the organisation operating smoothly each day.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing, enhancing and optimising internal business platforms
- Maintaining the stability and performance of the core applications
- Creating new branches for development with clear and efficient quality assurance and testing processes
- Supporting users throughout the business, ensuring reliable and consistent system performance
- Championing strong development practices, testing frameworks and documentation standards
Requirements
- Strong experience with PHP using the Laravel framework
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Confident working within Linux based environments
- Ability to introduce new functionality with smooth and structured quality assurance and testing
- A direct and solutions focused approach with the ability to work independently
