Job description

Pertemps Technical are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Diagonistics Technician to join their busy service team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support and helping to maintain the highest quality standards across a range of coffee vending machines.

This is a varied role combining customer service, technical support, spare parts coordination and continuous improvement activities., * Provide telephone and email support to customers, resolving technical queries and incidents

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues with vending machines
  • Process and manage spare parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Inspect, test, and analyse returned components, preparing detailed reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (SAP experience desirable)
  • Prepare and update technical documentation for internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Quality, R&D, and Production to support issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, health & safety, and ISO standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Understanding of basic electrical principles

  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, MD Dynamics; SAP advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Appliance/technical support background essential
