Enterprise Data Architect The Acre, Covent Garden, London - Hybrid About the role As an Enterprise Data Architect you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global data strategy. Sitting at the heart of our Data Office, you'll have the opportunity to influence how data underpins our business, drive innovation, and embed modern data principles across a diverse organisation. This is a high-impact role where your technical expertise, collaboration, and vision will help align our data architecture with evolving business goals and the latest technological advancements., * Set the strategy for data architecture to support the business and IT strategies and maintaining the data architecture principles.
- In a matrix environment lead and mentor Architects, Data Engineers and Analysts. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture across the CDO.
- Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of various business stakeholders. Act as technical adviser in all strategic data initiatives and ensure alignment to the enterprise data strategy and business objectives.
- Define and lead on data architecture to translate business requirements into conceptual and logical data models. Ensure alignment between conceptual, logical, and physical data models and have a broad understanding of how each model fulfils the needs of the organisation.
- Define, establish and maintain the adoption of architectural standards, patterns, policies and data governance processes across the data office and the wider enterprise.
- Play a leading role the design and development of enterprise-wide data management capabilities, strategy, governance, quality, operations, and security, complete with measurement frameworks and supporting processes
- Manage the holistic roadmap of data architecture initiatives across the organisation.
- Closely work with the business, IT teams and data governance teams to develop data products and analytical solutions.
- Set the standard and work with the SI partner when they are delivering architecturally significant solutions.
- Lead in the latest data, architecture and analytics technologies and trends. Proactively identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance product capabilities and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Data Platform, Advanced Analytics, and Governance) and external SI partners to ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Ensure all data and analytics architecture and products adhere to relevant data governance policies, security standards, and compliance regulations., * Set the strategy for data architecture to support the business and IT strategies and maintaining the data architecture principles.

Requirements
Good communication skills, * Extensive, demonstrable experience implementing architecture in multiple organisations and scenarios.
- Great experience in data governance, and data management frameworks.
- Good understanding of business and commercial needs alongside technical requirements.
- Understanding of how data fits into broader architecture principles and requirements.
- Experience working at an enterprise level.
- Experience with Cloud and Data technology.
It is not essential, but it would be beneficial for you to have:
- Previous working in a global, matrix style organisation.
- Experience with Azure and/or Databricks.
- Previous experience implementing AI related tools/platforms in a architecture environment., * Extensive, demonstrable experience implementing architecture in multiple organisations and scenarios.
- Great experience in data governance, and data management frameworks.
- Good understanding of business and commercial needs alongside technical requirements.
- Understanding of how data fits into broader architecture principles and requirements.
- Experience working at an enterprise level.
