Job description

We are looking for a Senior Network and Telecommunications Administrator to strengthen Banco Finantia's Systems & Telecommunications Department:

  • Network Management
  • Administer and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance;
  • Continuously monitor network infrastructure, proactively detect connectivity issues, and act promptly to resolve them;
  • Analyze logs and metrics to prevent failures.
  • Voice and Telecommunications Systems Administration
  • Manage VoIP solutions and call recording systems;
  • Create, configure, and maintain telephone extensions and user profiles;
  • Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) for voice and video.
  • Equipment Management and Support
  • Administer inventory and lifecycle of devices (phones, smartphones, tablets, and hotspots);
  • Configure mobile applications and provide technical support, ensuring equipment repairs when necessary.
  • Planning and Continuous Improvement
  • Assess new technologies and propose improvements to optimize infrastructure;
  • Participate in network architecture reviews;
  • Document topologies and procedures;
  • Develop capacity and network expansion plans;
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to ensure quality and service levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in network and telecommunications administration;
  • Proven expertise in network and telecommunications management;
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, STP, and QoS;
  • Cisco CCNA certification (preferred);
  • Experience with Cisco equipment and monitoring tools;
  • Proficiency in VoIP systems and call recording solutions;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written);
  • Knowledge of Spanish (preferred);
  • Team-oriented mindset;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Analytical thinking and critical judgment.
