Job description
We are a growing Managed Service Provider supporting small and medium-sized businesses across Burton on Trent and surrounding areas. Most of our clients are local, relying on us for dependable IT support and proactive solutions. The role focuses primarily on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and endpoint support, with some exposure to on-premises Windows Server and Hyper-V environments., * Respond to and resolve support tickets via phone, email, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and applications
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (user setup, permissions, policies, mail flow)
- Assist with SharePoint/OneDrive support
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, routers)
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks including patching and backup checks
- Maintain clear notes and documentation in the ticketing system
- Attend on-site visits when required (mileage reimbursed)
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Good knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Awareness of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
- Basic networking knowledge
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional client visits
Preferred (Not Essential)
- Previous experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Candidates who are local or within reasonable commuting distance of Burton on Trent
- Experience with Windows Server and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with RMM tools, backup systems, or cybersecurity fundamentals
