Role Scope / Deliverables: Project Leadership & Execution: * Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT-driven global trade compliance projects, including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. * Drive the implementation and enhancement of trade compliance functionalities within ERP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, VP1, IFS or equivalent). * Lead structured project governance processes, status reporting, risk/issue tracking, and stakeholder updates. * Coordinate, document, and resolve complex risks and issues. * Support and coordinate change management activities in line with release management. * Ability to report issues at detailed level to the core team and high level to senior leadership. Systems & Data Integration: * Partner with IT and business teams to implement integrations between ERP systems and OneSource trade compliance tool (e.g., denied party screening, Free Trade Agreements and Global Classification modules). * Ability to review and support system integrations with aligned data flows related to classification (HTS, ECCN), country of origin, export licenses, and import/export transactions. * Ensure accuracy and consistency of compliance-critical master data across platforms. Compliance Enablement & Automation: * Translate global trade regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, OFAC, customs requirements) into scalable IT solutions and controls. * Automate screening, document generation, and license management processes through configuration and workflow design. * Support the development and documentation of system validation, audit trails, and reporting tools aligned with internal control standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Serve as a liaison between IT, Global Trade Compliance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Legal, and external vendors. * Facilitate workshops and technical discussions to align project requirements with regulatory needs. * Support testing and user training to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of compliance tools Key Skills: * bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years supporting Global Trade Compliance or ERP-related initiatives. * Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), including configuration or integration support. * Some level of experience in Import/export compliance, trade regulations, and how they are operationalized through technology. * Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within scope in a matrixed organization. * Strong risk and issue management skills
