Senior Data Engineer with GDS experience

• Design & Development: Build scalable, serverless data solutions on Azure and AWS using tools like Synapse, ADF, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Athena.
• Pipelines & Processing: Create secure, efficient batch and real-time data pipelines with services such as Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue.
• Data Architecture: Apply advanced modelling (e.g., Kimball) and design cloud-native architectures optimised for serverless environments.
• Quality & Governance: Implement robust data governance, security, and compliance with UK regulations (GDPR, FOI, NCSC).
• Platform Engineering: Develop reusable cloud data platform components using tools like S3, Data Lake Gen2, and Logic Apps.
• Monitoring & Ops: Ensure stability of production data flows with automated monitoring (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
• GDS COMPLIANCE:Ensure all data engineering outputs adhere to GDS Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice. Support service assessments, audits, and documentation as required by UK government bodies.
