Job description

  • Formalise capture, analysis, and manage stakeholder and system requirements using tools like IBM DOORS
  • Ensure requirements are necessary, correct, complete, and verifiable.
  • Drive traceability from top level requirements through to sub-system and test requirements
  • Interface Control Documentation (ICDs)
  • Capture interface requirements, support development and maintenance of ICDs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and validate interface specifications.
  • Risk Analysis & Management
  • Define Risk assessment and support Risk assessment at the relevant levels of the Project, System and sub-systems
  • Identify, assess, and drive mitigation of technical risks throughout the lifecycle
  • Document risk registers and ensure compliance with project risk management processes.
  • Verification & Validation (V&V)
  • Develop V&V plans aligned to requirements and in collaboration with customer and supplier engineers
  • Support integration, qualification, and acceptance testing activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, This role is an opportunity for an experienced Systems engineer to support the design, installation and delivery life cycle of an aeroderivative engine-based power plant for a critical application. This role requires experience in Requirements engineering and management, Interface Capture and Definition and Risk Assessment and management and Testing aspects of Systems engineering., * Proficiency in IBM DOORS, SysML.

  • Knowing MBSE methodologies might be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with interface management, ICD development, and configuration control tools (e.g., JIRA, TeamCenter).
  • Strong understanding of INCOSE standards, Def-Stan, and MIL-STDs.
  • Experience in risk analysis techniques (FMEA, fault tree analysis).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple understandable language.
  • Leadership: Ability to develop and lead conversations in both formal and informal customer settings
  • Experience in design and integration of powerplants for offshore applications would be a definite positive for this role
