  • Supporting the Product Owner with backlog prioritisation and planning.
  • Removing blockers and shielding the team from distractions.
  • Ensuring alignment with SAFe practices and governance.
  • Documenting actions, coordinating workshops and supporting day-to-day delivery tasks.

Requirements

You don't need to be a deep technical expert but you do need enough technical understanding to confidently challenge and support those delivering the hands-on work.

You may have previously worked in testing or development, but this isn't essential.

What matters is:

  • An understanding of data migrations, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse projects;
  • Confidence engaging with technical teams;
  • A delivery-focused, structured approach.

Essential experience:

  • Experience working on data-focused programmes (data migrations, ETL, DW projects).
  • Exposure to SAFe Agile or similar scaled frameworks (certification desirable).
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating cross-team activity and supplier delivery.
  • Able to operate well in fast-paced, changing environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog, sprint and work item management.
  • Background in a data engineering or database-focused environment.

Personal attributes:

  • Collaborative and supportive with strong organisational discipline.
  • Attention to detail without losing sight of delivery goals.
  • Adaptable, pragmatic and able to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical groups.
