SAP Basis Consultant

An experienced SAP Basis Consultant is required by Whitehall Resources to join a UK-based client on an initial 1-year fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role based from our client's Leicestershire office, with a mix of office-based and remote working. This is a hands-on technical role, combining system administration, implementation, and ongoing support. You will join an established Basis team and work closely with functional consultants, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure SAP systems are reliable, secure, and performing optimally.

Extensive experience in SAP Basis and technical administration across ERP? Proven ability to install, configure, and maintain SAP systems on-premises or in cloud environments? Hands-on expertise in HANA database administration, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting? Knowledge of SAP integration (Fiori, Gateway, third-party systems) and transport management tools (Active Control preferred)? Understanding of Agile delivery methods, using Kanban boards in Jira, and collaborative ways of working? Would you like to? Deliver SAP implementation projects from design through go-live, while providing BAU support? Act as a technical SME, solving complex system issues in a fast-paced environment?
