Job description

We are working with a leading building, refurbishment, and fit-out contractor to recruit a skilled Document Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience using Procore Construction Management software to play a key role in managing documentation across a range of high-profile projects., * Take ownership of project documentation using Procore, ensuring all documents are uploaded, tracked, and distributed accurately.

  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Submittals, Sample Submittals, Professional Team Drawings, and Subcontractor & Supplier Drawings.
  • Liaise with the project team, clients, and supply chain to resolve missing or inaccurate information.
  • Support efficient retrieval of project documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in collating Operation and Maintenance Manuals and other project documentation as required.
  • Participate in meetings to review outstanding documentation and provide updates on project progress.
  • Support general project administration including document distribution, printing, and presentation preparation.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Procore Construction Management software (essential).
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in construction document control is advantageous but not essential.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
