Job description
The IT Manager at Artek is responsible for overseeing the company's entire IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. The role includes managing IT staff, maintaining hardware and software, improving technology processes, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance., * Oversee and manage IT operations, including networks, servers, and systems.
- Lead the IT support team and provide guidance on technical issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network devices.
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, and data protection policies are followed.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network or system failures.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and best practices.
- Manage IT budgets, purchases, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and system security.
- Coordinate with other departments to support their IT requirements.
- Plan and manage IT-related projects including upgrades and new system roll outs
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Strong knowledge of networking, servers, databases, and cloud systems
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Leadership and team-management abilities
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple IT projects, * Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA, CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support/administration
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial IT role (preferred)
