Requirements
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- HV Authorised Person qualification and BS7671 2018 18th Edition IEE Wiring & Installation competency
- Minimum 5 years experience in critical environments (data centers, banking HQ)
- Mission-critical operations and maintenance experience with large-scale electrotechnical/electrical/mechanical systems
- Skilled in High and Low Voltage Power Distribution (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators) and cooling systems (chillers, CRAC/CRAH, cooling towers, pumps, piping)
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and electrical switching/isolation procedures in critical environments
- Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic IT skills, * Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or equivalent engineering
- 2+ years of data center engineering operations experience
- Confined Space entry training and recognized apprenticeship/training completion
- Experience maintaining close control humidity and temperature conditioned environments
- Advanced IT and report writing skills
- Proactive, customer-focused approach with high initiative and continuous improvement mindset
- Hands-on mentality with stress resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Previous Building Services industry experience
- Strong skills on Building Management Systems beyond basic proficiency
